Dates for the 2008 Challenges
The Challenge has two Categories - Junior (aimed at
students in Grades 4 - 5) and Senior (aimed at students in grades 6, 7
and 8). There are 3 challenges (each of
3 long-answer questions) and a Final at the end of the each semester of 2008 and
the start dates for the challenges are:

The questions are made available from the Monday of the
week of each challenge. It would be appreciated if solutions could be
emailed or mailed to Natural Maths by the Friday that is 5 days after
the issue date,
as the sample solutions will be on this site by the following Monday.
However, we know that school timetables are not that flexible and have
allowed a two-week period in which solutions may be submitted.
Qualifying for the Finals
The top five Junior and top five Senior teams in each challenge qualify for the mid-year
Finals, except that once a team has qualified, it is no longer counted
in the top 5. Thus 15 teams in each category will qualify to take part
in the June Finals for the competition.
