T-Hexagon Jigsaws 1

Problem 1

Make a large hexagon of your own and mark on it the lines shown in our diagram.

Then cut out along each line to make a simple jigsaw.

Show how the pieces can be used to make 3 smaller hexagons, all of which are the same size.

 

Problem 2

Make a large hexagon of your own, and mark it up as a T-hexagon of side 3.

Then cut along the lines to make jigsaw pieces that can be assembled into 4 smaller hexagons. But this time, all the jigsaw pieces have to be a different shape.
