Solution 2

After discovering that there are 24 MacMahon triangles that can be made with four colours, it simply remains to find an arrangement of them that meets the conditions that:
  1. The numbers/colours round the edge of the T-hexagon are all the same.
  2. The numbers/colours along an edge that is common to 2 triangles are the same.

We don't have any suggestions as to how you might go about this, but at least we do have solutions in both numbers and colours that you can check your solution against.
