These questions are all based
on a total of 100 feet-but can be varied to increase the complexity as
required.
If 10% of the feet on my
cards belong to boys how many cards have boys on them?
If 50% of the feet on my
cards belong to crabs. How many crabs are there?
If boys and dogs account for
14% of the feet, how many boys and dogs are there?
Snails account for the
smallest possible percentage of the 100 feet. How many snails are there?
Open Questions
More than 50% of the feet on
my cards belong to spiders. I have at least one of every other kind of
creature. How many spiders might I have?
If less than 20% of my feet
belong to boys and dogs. How many boys and dogs feet might I have?
If I put the crabs and the
spiders together they would account for between 18 and 46 % of the feet.
How many spiders and crabs might I have?
Flip Questions
I have 100 feet in my hand of
cards. You can ask me percentage questions to find out what I have in my
hand. Questions could include:
"Do more than 50% of
the feet belong to crabs?"
"Do spiders legs
account for more than 32% of the legs?"
