So, there I was in Morphett Vale East School’s staﬀroom looking at the social book club collection and what did I spy but these two books….
I thought it was quite funny really because as you saw in the recent Nose Pixies blog post I closed off with a finger print activity. What more excuse do I need to buy more books? Well ... none of course!
I had to buy them.
These two books are quite inspiring and could be used as a wonderful springboard into some great problematized situations. I have lots of blog posts on problematised situations including ones on everyday situations, snakes and owls.
For those students still developing fine motor coordination fingerprint making offers a very accessible way into creating diagrams and representations - rather than having to draw or diagram a problem.
The following pages give some starters. I can feel a very multiplicative poodle problem coming along, or a simple counting collections (eggs) problem.
Use the pages as springboards not as step-by-step to-do’s and see what unfolds.
