A new workshop with Ann Baker. During this day of hands on problem solving participants will engage in a variety of problem types and explore the potential of each. There are many types of problems to consider.

During this day of hands on problem solving participants will engage in a variety of problem types and explore the potential of each. There are many types of problems to consider, for example:

• word problems
• problematized situations
• multi-step problems
• open-ended problems
• recreational or puzzle type problems

During the day participants will work through:

• the STAR model (a free copy of support materials will be unlocked for participants)
• methods of representation
• differentiation from entry level to the top 25%
• explicit problem solving strategies (hands on, visual, movement, abstract)
• reasoning and deep understanding are the Punic goals.

This is a brand new workshop with Ann so book early.
